Requirements
Conditions for Application
1
The applicant must not have reached the age of 30 by the application deadline.
2
The applicant must be a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
3
The applicant must be enrolled in a doctoral (PhD) programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The applicant must have passed the qualifying examination or provide evidence of having successfully completed the relevant stage of the doctoral programme.

The applicant must have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20/4.00 or 8.00/10.00 (or equivalent).

The applicant must not be engaged in full-time employment during the scholarship period.Exception: This restriction does not apply to recipients employed at a university, research centre, or comparable academic institution. In such cases, the scholarship is disbursed at 25% of the full amount for the duration of the engagement.

The applicant must have obtained approval of the proposed doctoral dissertation topic from the faculty council or another competent body.

The proposed doctoral dissertation topic must fall within the fields and thematic areas specified in this Public Call.

Certificate of Citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Proof of Enrollment in a Doctoral (PhD) Program

Proof of Qualifying Examination
Proof of having passed the qualifying exam or successfully completed the relevant stage of the doctoral program.

Academic Transcripts from Master's and Doctoral Studies
Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.20/4.00 or 8.00/10.00 (or equivalent).

Two Academic Letters of Recommendation

Detailed Doctoral Dissertation Proposal
Up to 1,500 words, submitted in the language of instruction (Bosnian, Turkish, or English).

Confirmation of Dissertation Topic Approval
From the Faculty Council or another competent body.

Confirmation of Supervisor Appointment

Declaration of Employment Status
Confirming non-employment. Academic employees must submit an official certificate from the employer. Must be notarized.

Declaration of Familiarity with Scholarship Regulations
Confirming the applicant has read and is fully familiar with the Scholarship Award Regulations. Must be notarized.

Scientific Publications (if any)
Only publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science will be considered.
Financial Support
Scholarship Details
Monthly Stipend
2,000 BAM
Paid monthly for the preparation of the doctoral dissertation, for a duration until the end of doctoral studies or as determined by the Scholarship Commission.
Annual Research Budget
3,000 BAM
For research and scientific activities: conferences, publication costs, academic programs, research travel, and other direct research costs. Special approval required.

The Scholarship Commission reviews applications, consults expert evaluators, and conducts interviews with shortlisted candidates.
Reporting
Progress Reports
Every 6 Months
Scholarship recipients must submit biannual progress reports and prepare at least one scientific paper within the first year.
